The Presidential Election Petitions Court accepted the certified copies of President Bola Tinubu’s academic and professional credentials that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, had provided.
President Tinubu’s B.Sc. degree from Chicago State University, his NYSC Discharge degree, and a certificate of service from Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc are some of the records that have been presented as evidence.
Throughout the court sessions, PDP’s summoned witness Mike Enahoro Ebah Esq. supplied information on these papers. He observed that although being claimed to belong to Tinubu, they weirdly bore the name “Bola Adekunle Tinubu.”
The witness also filed forms EC13 and EC9, which are nomination forms, together with letters written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as supporting attachments, under the direction of PDP lawyer Chris Uche (SAN).
However, counsel for President Tinubu, Emmanuel Ukala (SAN), and the APC, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), raised concerns about the admissibility of these papers.
