West Ham United has rejected Manchester City’s opening offer for their captain, Declan Rice.
On Monday night, the defending Premier League winners issued a counteroffer for £80 million with add-ons of £10 million.
Fabrizio Romano, claims that the Hammers informed City that they would only sell Rice for £100 million.
“West Ham have rejected Man City’s first official offer for Declan Rice, worth £80 million plus £10 million in add-ons,” Romano tweeted.
Arsenal will resubmit a bid; their most recent offer was for £75m plus £15m, and their third official bid is anticipated soon.
“West Ham wants a £100 million fee for their player.”
