According to the Dutch publication De Telegraaf, Arsenal and Ajax have finally reached an agreement for Arsenal to sign defender Jurrien Timber.
The Gunners will pay a set cost of €42 million and an additional €5 million in add-ons.
On a five-year contract, Timber has already worked out the personal details with the North London club.
In the upcoming days, he will have a medical before the transfer is formally announced.
Last summer, Timber came very close to joining the top division in England, but ultimately decided against joining Manchester United.
The Dutchman, though, is eager to fulfill his dream and is content to work under Mikel Arteta.
