Tinubu set to visit Ogun paramount rulers on Thursday

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Ogun State on Thursday, July 29, barring any unforeseen changes.

The President will be in Abeokuta to meet with the Alake of Egba, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, and the Awujale of Ijebu, Oba Sikiru Adetona. The President is now in Lagos State for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The president’s visit was verified by Babatunde Olaotan, an adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun, in a note he emailed to APC members in Ogun State.

“You’re cordially invited by Governor Dapo Abiodun – CON to welcome His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu – GCFR who will be paying us a visit tomorrow, 29th of June 2023 in Abeokuta and Ijebu-Ode,” Olaotan added, asking them to greet Tinubu in the Gateway State.

He stated that APC supporters in Abeokuta and the surrounding areas should assemble at the Ake Palace by 8am and those in Ijebu-Ode should do the same by 12 pm.

The President is likely visiting the paramount monarchs to express his gratitude for a good election.
