Teju Babyface, a popular Nigerian comedian and media figure, has become a father once more after his wife gave birth to their third child, a baby girl.
On October 9, 2023, the comedian shared the happy news with his fans and followers on his Instagram page, stating that the child had just recently been born. Given that the couple had twins, according to Yoruba traditions, their baby girl is an Idowu.
He revealed the newest member of his happy family by posting two photographs to his page. He and his wife of 11 years, Tobi, hugged the infant tenderly in the photo.
Babyface informed everyone that the mother and the child are both in good health while also humorously adding that he is as well.
His caption read, “The one (that) the Yoruba people call Idowu is here! My wife @tobibanjokooyelakin and I welcomed our 3rd child, a girl, into the world a couple of days ago. Mother and daughter are very well. And father too (if anybody was wondering 🙂)”
He went on talking to his wife, reminding her that he was putting up his boots and jokingly informing her that this would be their last child.
He added, “Now, having rejoiced and announced thus, Iya Ibeji aka Iya Idowu aka Mrs. Babyface, e don do o! I don hang boot o. Let Alaba just chill o 😁. Ehen.”
Since then, fans and other celebrities have congratulated the new parents, sending them words of congratulations and best wishes. The renowned comedian got married to his wife in September 2012, and the couple welcomed their first pair of twins in 2018. Their lovely family has now expanded by one.
