On the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, Serena Williams announced her pregnancy while looking stunning in a Gucci gown and flashing a wide smile. Along with Alexis Olympia Ohanian, who was born in September 2017, this will be her second child with her husband Alexis Ohanian.
Williams said to Vogue during their live stream from the event, “There are three of us here.”
She stated, “I’m OK, I feel fine right now. I don’t have to hide because I can breathe and stop.
It’s fantastic to see these talented ladies on the red carpet announcing their pregnancies. It’s great to see Serena Williams and Karlie Kloss’s partners cheering them on during this momentous occasion.
Both women look stunning in their elegant outfits. Williams’ moving homage to Karl Lagerfeld demonstrates her admiration for his contributions to the fashion world. It’s always nice to see famous people using their platforms to share their interests and convictions.
“Karl never disappointed with his designs, so we’re both just so happy to be here and get inside and not drink,” she joked.
“I’ll be partaking,” Ohanian quickly clarified.
