PRESS STATEMENT BY THE NIGERIA VOTERS WATCH ON THE ACTIVITIES Of MR Kennedy IYERE 

Gentlemen and Ladies of the Fourth Estate of Realm,

1. Our attention has been drawn to the nefarious activities of Mr Kennedy Iyere, especially his recent activities in Imo state where he purportedly alleged that the Obidient Movement has endorsed Governor Hope Uzondinma of the All Progress Congress for a second term. God forbid.

2. We categorically refute such a claim as a figment of the imagination of Mr Kennedy lyere, who notoriously parades himself as the leader of the Obidient Movement.

3. The Nigeria Voters Watch is a strong precursor and founder of the Obidient Movement. The Movement is an aggregation of the collective interests drawn from the civil society and support groups across the country. The movement was founded on certain principles and values that define its modus operandi.

4.Mr Kennedy lyere represents the exact opposite of our collective principles and values. He has become a political merchant, trading on the innocence of the Obidient Movement. 

5. The Nigeria Voters Watch, as an active member of the Obidient Movement, strongly disassociate itself from the political banditry, merchandising proclivities, and election shopping inclinations of Mr Kennedy lyere and his acolytes.

6. We repudiate his actions and pronouncements in lmo state and any other area of his juvenile calculations. The general public and the political space need to take notice that the Obidient Movement and its adherents are not commodities to be bought and sold on that alters of his infantile political calculations.

7. The Obidient Movement and the Nigeria Voters Watch are determined to refine and redefine the political space of the country by heralding a new collective sense of oneness, unity, and transformational love of our fatherland, Nigeria. Mr Iyere is a distraction of this political re- engineering of the policy.

8. We are not party to the shenanigans and political prostitution of a misguided anarchist parading himself as a democrat. We urge the general public to be aware and stay clear from the opportunity and desperation for relevance by Kennedy lyere and his acolytes 

9. We urge the Obidient Movement to remain strong and steadfast,not to be confused and divided by the action of a lillupian pimp masquerading as political godfather. The Obidient Movement transcends the self-righteousness of Mr Kennedy lyere and shall overcome his indiscretions  

10. The Nigeria Voters Watch urges this medium to warn Kennedy Iyere to desist from his tepid actions.We shall not hesitate to take more serious steps to curb his arrogance and self-importance. We want to want warn desperate opportunists such as Gov Hope Uzondinma to stop procuring the likes of Iyere for their lack of electoral value. It is only performance anchored on transparent leadership that could win the hearts and minds of the people. It is not through contrive political purchases from a known political contractor with little or no grassroots support
