NYSC DG bags Fellow of National Labour Institute

Brigadier General Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed, the director general of the National Youth Service Corps, has been honored as a fellow of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies.

He was honored because, since taking office as the 22nd Chief Executive of NYSC, he has improved employee and corps welfare concerns, particularly security-related ones.

Mr. Olukanmi Ayokanmi, Managing Director of Gogetters Consulting Ltd., spoke on behalf of the institute during the event at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja and praised the Director-General for his exceptional work.

He continued by saying that General Ahmed received a commendation for his work as a compassionate Chief Executive on labor-related issues.

Ahmed thanked the management of the Michael Imoudu Institute for recognizing him as deserving of the honor in his answer.

The NYSC Management and all of the participating labor unions have a friendly relationship, he continued.

As stated in his five-point policy thrust, Ahmed vowed to maintain the security and well-being of corps members and personnel around the country as the first priority of his government.
