The Supreme Court has been requested to provide justice in the case of the agitator by Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

He requested that the Supreme Court ensure that Kanu’s trial is over today.

He stated in a tweet that when resolving Kanu’s case, the court should be guided by equity, justice, and moral conscience.

“Let equity, justice & good conscience guide the hand of the Court to undo the grave injustice that was done to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu almost two years ago,” writes Ejimakor as the Supreme Court convenes to hear Onyendu #MNK’s case today. Justice has a shelf life. Make today that day of expiration.

It was earlier reported that the apex court will on Thursday (today) hear the appeal Kanu filed over his continuous detention at the Department of State Services, DSS, facility in Abuja.

The appeal, which was filed on November 3, 2022, was against the Court of Appeal’s ruling, which on October 28, 2022, put a hold on the implementation of its previous order clearing him of all accusations and ordering his release from the secret police’s custody while it was under appeal.
