The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Lagos took in no less than 102 stranded Nigerians who had been evacuated from Libya on Wednesday.

According to a press release from the organization that was made accessible to journalists, Mr. Mustapha Ahmed, Director-General of NEMA, formally greeted the returnees on behalf of the Federal Government.

The 102 returns included 96 females, 2 males, and 4 infants, according to the statement.

The returnees, it was stated, flew on an Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800 with the registration number 5A-DMG and landed at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport late on Tuesday night.

In it, the DG was cited as adding that the Federal Government was dedicated to making sure that Nigerian people were safeguarded wherever they went.
