At the Investors and Exporters window, the Naira on Thursday decreased in value relative to the dollar, trading for N469.50.
Comparing the local currency to N464.67, which it swapped for the dollar on Wednesday, the local currency showed a 1.04 percent decline.
On Thursday, the open indicative rate was N468.94 to the US dollar.
Prior to its final settlement at N469.50 during the day’s trade, the exchange rate reached a high of N476.50 to the dollar.
During the trading day, the naira fell as low as 460 to the dollar.
At the official Investors and Exporters window on Thursday, a total of $74.18 million was exchanged.
