Cardi B’s microphone, which she hurled at a concertgoer during a stage performance in Las Vegas, is now up for auction.
On Saturday, the singer was performing in a video that was extensively shared on the internet when a member of the audience spilled drink from a cup at her.
Cardi B then flung her mic in the direction of the concertgoer in retribution.
Following the controversy, Scott Fisher, owner of The Wave, a Las Vegas-based audio company that provides audio support to Drai’s Nightclub, where the event occurred, chose to auction off the piece of equipment.
Fisher, in a Facebook post wrote: “I own the microphone that Cardi B was nice enough to tomahawk at someone that splashed liquid on her a few days ago.
“After some encouragement from people I decided to auction it off.”
Bids for the microphone had reached $99,900 at the time of writing, with the listing slated to finish on Tuesday, August 8.
