May Edochie serves hubby, Yul Edochie, divorce papers, demands N100m over adultery claims

The estranged first wife of Nollywood star Yul Edochie, May Edochie, has filed for divorce from him and has also requested N100,000,000 in damages from both Judy, his second wife, and him for alleged infidelity.

Femi Falana and the Eculaw group are representing the entrepreneur who has three children with Yul Edochie. They just provided an update on the couple’s marital problems.

In a complaint submitted on Tuesday, the DPA Family Law Clinic highlighted that Judy and Yul are both aware of the lawsuit since they had gotten copies of the court documents through email.

“Both Yul and Judy are avoiding service of the process upon them. The court bailiff has tried so many times to serve them in accordance with the rules of court. But they have evaded service of the court process.

“Despite the braggadocio and the social media stunts, Yul Edochie and Judy are facing serious legal challenges and they seem ill-prepared for them, given the fact that they have been evading service of process”, the lawsuit read in part.

According to reports, May has also requested another restraining order barring Yul Edochie from entering their former marital residence due to the actor’s allegedly unpredictable, impulsive, violent, and threatening behavior.

Recall that on July 10, May (who lost her fourth child months ago) and her attorney allegedly went to court to file a petition against Yul, whose marriage fell apart after he wed Judy Austin, a coworker, as his second wife.
