Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is required to remain in the Department of State Security’s (DSS) custody at least until September 14, 2023.

This is happening as the Supreme Court on Thursday postponed a hearing on an appeal IPOB filed against a ruling by the Appellate Court that halted the release of the leader of the Igbo self-determination group.
