Insensitive joke: Davido reacts to AY’s apology

David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, has responded to comedian AY’s public apology for his hurtful joke.

AY recently performed on stage in Warri and made harsh remarks about Davido impregnating many women with his small manhood while he had been trying with his larger one for over 13 years.

Internet users criticized the comedian for degrading his fellow performer in public with this joke.

AY apologized to the singer in an Instagram post after the criticism, blaming the misunderstanding on the way that websites twisted his remarks.

He said;

“I am very sorry for the way that joke came out in Warri. You have every right to be angry after seeing how it was used by blogs. Please understand that we are all constantly learning in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash coming my way for the poorly delivered joke in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason for them. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido.”

Davido responded to the comedian’s apologies by telling him not to worry in the comments section. He wrote: “Nothing spoil baba mi.”
