I went through gruesome campaign but still came out tops – Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, claims he is pleased with his victory in the recently held presidential election despite the gruesome campaign.

Tinubu claimed to have fought valiantly during the election when he spoke on Wednesday at the opening of the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover in Port Harcourt.

He claimed that despite these obstacles and the opposition party’s attacks against him, he nevertheless managed to win the election.

“It is a privilege and an honor to be here with you today, the president-elect stated. I’m extremely joyful.

“Happy because I underwent a gruesome campaign, fought hard, had a lot of your support, and I won.”
