On Twitter, Elon Musk congratulated his two-time ex-wife Talulah Riley, 37, on her engagement to Love Actually actor Thomas Brodie Sangster, 33.
The world’s wealthiest man, 52, wrote ‘Congratulations’ with a love heart beneath her post, in which she shared a selfie with her new husband-to-be.
Talulah wrote in her caption : ‘Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!’, Thomas took to Instagram.
Talulah married Elon after a ten-day romance in 2010, but they separated two years later before remarrying in 2013.
The millionaire filed for divorce in 2014, but later withdrew his petition. Riley filed for divorce two years later, and the divorce was finalized later that year. Musk wooed her at the London nightclub Whisky Mist by talking about rockets.
‘My first impressions were that he was quite kind, he seemed pretty shy,’ Riley said of their first meeting in the new BBC documentary.
He said “may I put my hand on your knee” and I said, “OK go on then”, I thought it was quite sweet that he asked.’
She continued: ‘He said I don’t usually do this but I’d love to see you tomorrow can we meet for breakfast. So we had breakfast.
‘And at the end of breakfast he said would you come and have lunch with me so we went for lunch. And then he said would you come for dinner.
Elon explained at the time, ‘We took some time apart for several months to see if absence made the heart grow fonder, and regrettably it did not.’
