Eagle Square Comes Alive Ahead Tinubu’s Inauguration(Photos)

Eagle Square in Abuja is already humming with activity as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu prepares to take the oath of office as the new president of Nigeria.

Strong security is in place even as dignitaries start to arrive in the area before the inauguration’s official start.

The ceremony would also see Senator Kashim Shettima’s swearing-in as Nigeria’s next vice president.

Bola Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the APC chairman, Adamu Adamu, the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, the Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, and many more had already arrived at the venue.

The official start of the swearing-in is pending the arrival of outgoing Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his superior, President Muhammadu Buhari.
