In the absence of a last-minute alteration, Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader, will have his case heard by the United Kingdom Court of Appeal.
On June 22, 2023, the court is slated to hear Kanu’s extraordinary rendition appeal.
The appeal’s basis presented significant issues, according to the court’s original decision.
Aloy Ejimakor, Kanu’s special counsel, told media the date for the decision.
“The court determined in an initial decision that the appeal’s grounds create significant problems,” according to Ejimakor. “On June 22, 2023, the appeal will be discussed. Bravo to my colleagues, the Bindmans, and Kanu’s family.”
The IPOB leader was detained in Kenya in June 2022 due to his agitation for Biafra and was later charged with a crime so that his trial could proceed.
