Burna Boy also lost: Best Collaboration of the Year for “Sittin’ On Top of the World” with 21 Savage to Lil Durk and J. Cole’s “All My Life,” and Hustler of the Year to 50Cent.
His other defeats included Song of the Year to Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock,” 21 Savage to Lil Uzi Vert’s “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” and Best Hip Hop Video to the same song.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s late AKA and K.O., France’s Gazo and Ninho, the UK’s J Hus, Central Cee, and other competitors were defeated by Ghanaian prodigy Black Sherif in the Best International Flow category.
