2024 EDO STATE LABOUR PARTY DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

PRINCESS OLUYINKA FAITH ALUFOHAI NEE IKHEAFE IS FROM OTUO IN OWAN EAST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA AND MARRIED TO PROFESSOR EWAN FRANK ALUFOHAI MBBS(Lag) FMCS(Nig.) OF OWAN WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF EDO STATE. A PROFESSOR OF SURGERY; FORMER PROVOST COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND FORMER ACTING VICE CHANCELLOR, AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY EKPOMA. BORN 18 OF MAY 1981; she attended Orogun Primary School in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State; Azama College Otuo; Auchi Polytechnic where she obtained her HND in Mass Communication in 2010 and Univesity of Benin for her Post Graduate Diploma in Theatre Arts in 2018.

She did her NYSC 2011 – 2012 in AIT Asokoro Abuja. She took to private business, due to non availability of jobs, and became self employed, a talented Entrepreneur who uses her skill as an NGO to train youths and women in diverse field of fabric and leather works. She is the CEO of See-Through Multimedia Skills Nig. Ltd located in Sabongida Ora, Owan West LGA of Edo state.

As a student, she participated actively in Student Union Politics.

She was Vice President, Courier Press Club in Auchi Polytechnic 2004/2005.

Apart from being a trained journalist, she has also actively participated in the Performing Arts and has multiple Gospel Musical Albums to her credit. She has been in active politics since 2008 from ACN to APC and PDP. Because she was dissatisfied with the activities of these parties, she decide to join the Labour Party (LP) in 2022 due to the antecedents of His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi and since then, she has been passionately and diligently managing the affairs of the party at the grassroots around Edo North, as the current Labour Party Chairman, Owan West LGA, of Edo State.

She is happily married with children.
