On Tuesday night, the president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, arrived in Paris, France.
His communications staff tweeted a video of Tinubu getting off the presidential plane.
For the Global Financing Summit, which is being hosted by President Emmanuel Macron, the president is in the European nation.
Since taking office as president on May 29, 2023, Tinubu has only made a handful of official trips outside of Nigeria.
Tinubu tweeted on his official Twitter handle confirming his presence in Paris, saying, “My team and I arrived in Paris, France where we’ll be taking part in the Global Financing Pact Summit convened by President Emmanuel Macron.”
On Saturday, June 24, the President is expected to return to the nation.
