On Wednesday, Bola Tinubu, the incoming president of Nigeria, traveled to Europe for business.
He arrived back in the nation two weeks after leaving for trips to Paris, London, and Saudi Arabia.
This was said in a statement that his media assistant, Tunde Rahman, had signed.
According to the statement, Tinubu would take advantage of the trip to refine the transition plans and programs as well as his policy options with some of his senior advisers without undue pressure or distraction.
In order to promote investment prospects in the nation and his administration’s preparedness to support a business-friendly climate through laws and regulations, the President-elect will interact with business people and other important partners during the tour.
The declaration said: “Meetings with multi-sectoral actors in the European business community, including industry, agriculture, technology, and energy, have already been scheduled.
“Through relationships that are mutually beneficial and built on the creation of jobs and skill development, Asiwaju Tinubu intends to persuade them that Nigeria is ready to conduct business under his leadership.
“Reviving the nation’s economy is a key component of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, and the conference is a part of his efforts to restore Nigeria’s prominence in the global economic system and generate empowering opportunities for the nation’s sizable youth population.
“The President-elect has previously stated that he would get started right away, and his visit demonstrates that he intends to keep that promise given that he has already started discussions with key actors on the international stage in the crucial fields of security and the economy.
“Before leaving the nation, Asiwaju Tinubu met with Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Hon. Benjamin Kalu, who were introduced to him by the Joint Task Team of the House as the candidates for Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House by his party, the All Progressives Congress. “
The country’s 16th President, Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, is scheduled to be sworn in on May 29, 2023, and he is anticipated to return “shortly” to begin preparations.
