President Muhammadu Buhari’s “sins” are not pardonable, according to IPOB, the Indigenous People of Biafra.

Emma Powerful, the spokesperson for IPOB, responded to Buhari’s request for forgiveness from Nigerians.

Buhari had announced his intention to move to the Niger Republic while pleading with Nigerians to forgive him during the Sallah celebration.

However, Powerful claimed that even if Buhari moved to the Niger Republic, he wouldn’t be spared from his atrocities.

He questioned why Nigerians should be willing to overlook Buhari’s alleged involvement in the murder of IPOB members, ethnic cleansing, and destabilization of the nation, among other things.

A statement by Powerful reads partly: “The attention of the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been drawn to the disgraceful statement credited to Muhammadu Buhari asking and demanding that Nigerians should forgive him while at the same time indicating his interest in relocating to Niger Republic where he came from.

“To us in IPOB, his sins are unforgivable, and we don’t care if he moves to Mars or Jupiter with his generation rather than the Niger Republic.

“He won’t be protected from his crimes still. By the time he is finished moving, his misdeeds will be discovered.

“So, as a fictitious president, this man asks Nigerians to pardon him for supporting the murder of indigenous people, arming terrorists, ethnic cleansing, destabilizing the nation, enthroning the Fulani, nepotism, national treasury robbery, public deception, and many other heinous crimes?

“Which of the transgressions and crimes he committed does he seek pardon for? The sins he planned and carried out are unpardonable in the eyes of IPOB.”
