Google, a leading global technology company, claims to have updated its generative Artificial Intelligent Bard chatbot with new features that will enable it to fact-check its responses and examine users’ own Google data.
As a result, the tech giant claimed that Bard AI chatbot is no longer limited to obtaining information from the internet and can now search users’ Gmail, Documents, and Drive.
Users of Bard can now summarize an email’s contents or filter out crucial information contained in Drive thanks to the new functionality.
Users of Bard can link to Maps, YouTube, and Google flights and hotels, according to the extensions feature.
“The ability to collaborate on creative projects, start in one language and seamlessly continue in up to 40+ other languages and countries.
“Features to assist with in-depth coding inquiries and to explore new topics from various perspectives with heightened quality and accuracy,” it said.
Recall that on February 6, 2023, Google unveiled Bard to compete with ChatGPT, an OpenAI chatbot supported by Microsoft (MSFT.O).
