Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential contender has expressed his sorrow at the passing of the veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okeke.
Recall that on Tuesday night, Cynthia Okeke allegedly passed away in her sleep.
Peter Obi responded by expressing his sorrow over her passing.
He asked God to give her everlasting rest.
“The news of Cynthia Okereke’s passing, a seasoned Nollywood actress, is very sad. She was a well-known face in Nigerian movies for many years, and many people enjoyed watching how admirably she portrayed the many parts she performed.
“I express my condolences to the Actors Guild of Nigeria, her family, and friends who would be most touched by her passing.
“May God who called her home at this time grant her eternal rest,” he tweeted.
