2024 Hajj: FCTA advises intending pilgrims to deposit N4.5m

In order to hold off on determining the real amount, the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT-MPWB) has encouraged 2024 potential pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to deposit N4.5 million with the board.

This was said in a statement made on Friday in Abuja by Mr. Ahmad Saleh, the board’s assistant chief information officer.

He stated that the exercise’s registration and form sales will start on September 25.

Saleh instructed the potential pilgrims to send their contribution by bank draft to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in Abuja.

He asked people to provide their current, legal passports from abroad as well as their National Identification Numbers while registering in any of the six Area Councils in the FCT.

“The board does not accept cash deposits and does not entertain registration by proxy.

“It will also adhere strictly to the principles of first come, first served basis,” he said. (NAN)
