155 illegal migrants from Nigeria who were stranded throughout different regions of Libya were repatriated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in cooperation with the Federal Government.
This information can be found in a statement the IOM released on Wednesday in Lagos.
The returning passengers boarded an Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800 with the registration number 5A-DMG and arrived at the cargo wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos late on Tuesday night.
155 returnees arrived, of which 125 were women, 22 men, and 8 children, it was noted.
